Our Organic Free Range Egg Farm

A farm in the heart of the Northern Rivers

Organigrow is set on 70 acres of prime agricultural land at Monaltrie, also known as Gundurimba, just 7km from Lismore CBD in Northern New South Wales. Surrounded by the rich, fertile landscapes of the Northern Rivers and close to Byron Bay, Ballina and Casino, our farm is part of a truly remarkable region.

A place shared with nature

This is a place full of life. Echidnas, koalas and swamp wallabies share the land with our hens, while finches, wrens and other birdlife make themselves at home among the thick bushes and undergrowth. It is a working farm, but it is also an ecosystem we deeply value and care for.

Organic produce, grown with care

Organigrow is a certified organic and certified Humane Choice farm, producing organic eggs, mixed fruit and pecan nuts. Over the years, our produce has been supplied to wholesale and retail markets, both locally and interstate, earning a steady reputation for quality, integrity and variety.

Family-led, future-focused

Two generations of the Cripps Clark family have cared for this farm, and today it is owned and managed by Elisabeth, who holds a Bachelor of Business. Elisabeth combines practical farming experience, organic principles and up-to-date scientific knowledge to guide the way Organigrow operates. Her focus is simple: to produce genuinely organic, free-range eggs while giving the hens the space, freedom and healthy, varied diet they need to thrive.

A natural cycle that supports the whole farm

At Organigrow, the egg enterprise is not separate from the rest of the farm — it is part of a bigger, natural cycle. Chicken manure, quickly broken down and buried by dung beetles, helps enrich the soil, improving pasture and crop growth. Our hens graze beneath existing fruit and cabinet timber trees, where they enjoy shade and shelter, while their manure supports tree health and growth.

When crops are grown, the hens are also used to graze and naturally clear pasture from the cropping area, helping create a minimal to zero-till cultivation process.

Farming with respect for land and animals

We care deeply about the land we live and work on. Everything we do is grounded in a commitment to working with nature in the most organic way possible. We make sure our hens have access to a diverse, safe and stimulating environment, with plenty of room to roam, forage and enjoy green pick in a natural setting.

Organigrow Certifications

Certified organic

Organigrow’s organic certification is through the Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA), which covers the whole farm and its produce, including our eggs. Our Organic Growers of Australia certification number is Producer 628A. We are also licensed with the NSW Food Authority.

Certified true free range

In addition, we are accredited with Humane Choice, True Free Range (Accreditation #4013123), which verifies that our farming practices are truly free range and pasture raised, animal welfare friendly, and environmentally sustainable.

Unlike some larger producers who offer both caged and free-range eggs, every Organigrow egg is organic and free range.

Dozen carton sizes

Our dozen cartons are available in a full range of sizes, with the following minimum weights:

• 700g
• 800g

Half-dozen cartons

For those who prefer a smaller option, our half-dozen cartons have a minimum weight of 350g.
